The error “Unknown ticket OrderModify function” occurs when the EA tries to modify an invalid or already closed order. Check if auto-trading is enabled, the EA is running correctly, and the order is still open. Restarting MT4 or removing and reapplying the EA can also help.

There could be several reasons for this. The data quality in your backtest might play a role. In real trading, factors from your broker are crucial for the results: spread, latency, slippage, etc. I would initially recommend conducting a demo test with different brokers.
